What is a live, virtual event?
Endocrine University will be held in a live and virtual environment - entirely over the internet through a conference website. Registered attendees will be able to attend live presentations, access course materials and interact with speakers from their computers.
What are the technical requirements needed to participate?
This virtual event is optimized to be accessed on your desktop or laptop computer. Participation requires access to a stable internet connection through your computer's web browser. A microphone may be required if you participate in the case-based discussions or Q&A.
Membership and Eligibility Questions
Who is eligible to attend Endocrine University Year 2: Disease Management for Endocrinology Fellows in Training?
The content for Endocrine University Year 2: Disease Management for Endocrinology Fellows in Training is:
- specifically geared fellows who are in their second year of their fellowship program.
- for domestic, active Associate Membership (Fellow-in-Training) members only.
- very specific to the American system of healthcare, so it may not be as relevant for anyone practicing overseas. Attendees outside of the United States will not be eligible to receive CME or MOC.
Do I need to be a member of AACE in order to attend?
Yes, all fellows must be active Associate Membership (Fellow-in-Training) members in order to participate. Click on the links below to learn more about AACE membership.
Associate Membership (Fellow-in-Training) Membership is $50 and may be completed by clicking this link and selecting "Become an AACE Member" under the Associate Membership (Fellow-in-Training) type.
Virtual Attendance Questions
Do I need to stay for the entire time?
Yes, participants are required to be present for all sessions during the live, virtual event.
What time zone will the live, virtual sessions take place?
Eastern Standard Time (EST). The first session begins Friday, November 13, 2020 at 9:30 am EST. After you register, you will receive more information on the live event in the coming weeks.
Will I still be able to interact with speakers and moderators during the event?
Yes. Speakers and moderators will be available during the Q&A portion of their sessions. Attendees will also be able to interact with speakers and moderators during the cased-based breakout sessions.
Will I still be able to interact with industry sponsors during the event?
Yes. There are dedicated breaks in between sessions and you are encouraged to visit and interact with our industry sponsors.
Will the virtual sessions be recorded?
Yes. All attendees that register for and attend the live, virtual sessions will have complete access to the on-demand content through the same online platform two days after the conclusion of the event.
Members that did not register and attend the live, virtual sessions will be able to purchase the session recordings on aace.com shortly after the event has concluded.
