Charitable Gift Annuity
The American College of Endocrinology (the College) established two charitable gift annuity programs back in 1997; the exclusive Tax Smart™ Annuity and the Section 170™ Plan. These income, estate, and financial planning products are available to AACE members, as well as the general public.
What is a gift annuity?
A gift annuity is an agreement between a donor and a charity in which the charitable organization pays a donor a fixed income for life in return for the donor’s gift of cash, real estate, securities or other assets while receiving tax savings. With a charitable gift annuity, a donor can give and receive. The charity, through the generosity of the donor, fulfills its mission of goodwill to the greater community. It’s a gift that keeps giving!
