COLA Laboratory Accreditation
Enroll in COLA
The American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists through a cooperative alliance with COLA, is able to provide the member benefits described below. These COLA products are provided to AACE members at substantial discounts:
- Laboratory Accreditation Program at up to a 15% discount from individual state Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) pricing fees. Additionally, COLA will reduce the fee by $100 to cover the switching fee (from CMS to COLA) if applicable to attain a new certificate.
- The e-Learning Course QA-1, Quality Assurance Part 1, Basic QA Practice for the Physician Office Laboratory, free of charge to new AACE members who enroll in COLA's Laboratory Accreditation Program.
- Lab University CME e-Learning courses at a fifteen percent (15%) discount.
- Educational Products at a fifteen percent (15%) discount.
- Attendance at COLA's Physician Office Laboratory Symposium (20 CMEs) held annually at a 10% discount.

Laboratory Accreditation
- Call the COLA Information Resource Center at 1-800-981-9883
- Identify yourself as an AACE Member
e-Learning Courses
- Go online to www.labuniversity.org
- Select Enrollment / Logon
- Select New Student Enrollment
- Choose their User ID and Password
- Select their Organization / Affiliation (AACE)
- Provide the appropriate Enrollment Key (AACE)
- Complete the remainder of the enrollment form as prompted.
Educational Products (Enduring Materials)
- Call the COLA Information Resource Center at 1-800-981-9883
- Provide your AACE member number
POL Symposium
- There will be a place on the application for the 2004 Symposium to indicate the AACE membership number
NOTE: The Learning Management System has been programmed to provide the stipulated discount and to offer the QA 1 course free of charge to AACE members.
