Dear Colleague:

As fellow endocrinologists, we invite you to join the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists (AACE). AACE is the world's largest organization representing clinical endocrinologists with over 6,000 members in the United States and 84 other countries. Our members are all physicians, primarily in practice and in clinical endocrine research and academic medicine. We would like to include you among us. The following are just a few of the benefits of membership:

  • The AACE/ACE journal, Endocrine Practice, provides state of the art clinical material and reviews. It is free as part of your membership. AACE's newsletter, The First Messenger, is timely and filled with useful clinical information which we can integrate in our daily practice .
  • The Annual Meetings and Clinical Symposia, which offer CME Category I credits, have been outstanding and very well attended, emphasizing both clinical topics and socioeconomic issues. AACE members receive significant reduction in tuition.
  • AACE has an active voice in Congress through its continuous lobbying activities and grassroots efforts.
  • Affiliate Membership for Physicians that are enrolled in a postgraduate residency training program in Internal Medicine or Pediatrics or student enrolled in Medical School.
  • Many new CPT codes related to our field were created and refined by AACE.
  • The publication of practice guidelines in Diabetes, Thyroid Disease, Osteoporosis, Growth Hormone, Sexual Dysfunction, and Obesity serve as benchmarks and have increased access and demand for endocrinology services.
  • AACE has established the American College of Endocrinology (ACE) granting fellowship status (F.A.C.E.) to those AACE members who qualify.
  • AACE's Website on the Internet (www.aace.com) is readily available for up-to-date clinical information and discussions.
  • Complimentary membership for endocrine Fellows-in-Training. AACE strongly believes that Fellows-in-Training are a critical component of our organization, which is why we have made it easy by offering complimentary membership to all endocrine fellows.
  • Representation in the AMA House of Delegates.
