Improving Inpatient Diabetes Care: A Call to Action Conference
The American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists (AACE), American College of Endocrinology (ACE) and the American Diabetes Association (ADA) joined forces to develop strategies for management of adult patients with high blood glucose (sugar) while in the hospital by holding the “Improving Inpatient Diabetes Care: A Call to Action Conference - Consensus Development Conference,” January 30 and 31, 2006, at the Marriott Metro Center in Washington, DC. In addition to AACE, ACE and ADA, other major organizations were involved. A press event followed on February 1, 2006, at the Marriott Metro Center.
